Description:

Nose: Blackberry and plum underlined by subtle oak.

Palate: Medium bodied with a fleshy mid palate and good length.

Cellaring: This wine is best drunk in youth, however it will reward careful cellaring in the short to medium term.

Winemaker's comments: This wine is a good example of the complexity that can be achieved from blending these two classic varieties. The palate is full flavoured without the hardness sometime encountered from fuller styles with overwhelming tannin structures.
